Coach Beard
This is my 5th year in education and second year at Klein Cain, where I am a Health Science- CTE teacher. I am grateful for the opportunity to assist Coach Pledger and work with the JV softball team this year! I live locally in the area with my wife and three kids, who all go to Klein schools. We love being a part of this great community! We spend our free time with sports, outdoors, camping, and being with family and friends. I grew up for the most part in the Seattle, Washington area, where I played baseball from the age of 8 up through college ball at Cal State University – East Bay, in the San Francisco Bay area. For most of my adult life since being involved in organized baseball, I have played in adult softball leagues in the greater Houston area. I still enjoy playing now and then when I get an opportunity, as well as helping out with my own children’s ball teams when possible.
